A White-out is a geo-electrical storm caused by Carpathia's lunar cycle. In many ways it is similar Sand/Dust storm and Supercell (Tornado and Lightning forming strom) upon Earth. It can cause serious electrical discharge due to the friction between particles and has very high wind speeds. Due to the wind speeds pebbles and dust are picked up and are hurled through the air. This can cause damage to buildings (Episode 3).

Some of the ACs have been bred to withstand the "White Storms", as they call them, and have increased eye sight and toughened skin.
